Non-Disclosure Information
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted by law.
We may collect nonpublic personal information from various sources including information you provide on forms and applications, worksheets and other documents. Other sources may include information about your transactions with our affiliates, or information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those members of our firm who need to know that information to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us.
A Special Note Regarding IRS Section 7216 Regulations:
The IRS has created newly revised regulations to address modern return preparation practices, including electronic filing and the cross marketing of financial and commercial products and services by tax return preparers. Generally these rules prohibit the disclosure or use of tax return information without the client’s explicit, written consent.
Accordingly, we are not able to provide copies of your tax returns to bankers and other third parties unless we have received a proper disclosure form. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
